Meet the Owner
Dance has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a lifelong dancer, I know firsthand the excitement of walking into a dance store and finding the perfect pair of shoes, the leotard that makes you feel confident, or that special piece that makes you feel like you.
Owner, lifelong dancer, and the creative behind Saxton Dance Shoppe
A Natural Next Chapter
My love for dance eventually grew into a passion for fashion, design, and all of the little details that make something feel truly special. When the opportunity came to purchase Saxton Dance Shoppe from a dear friend, it felt like the perfect next chapter, one that brought together so many of the things I love.
Today, I’m excited to continue the tradition of a store built around dancers while adding my own creative touch. Through custom embroidery and personalized pieces, I love creating items that are as unique as the dancers who wear them. From a beautifully embroidered dance bag to a personalized gift, I believe those little details can turn something special into something unforgettable.
But the very best part of owning a dance store isn’t the clothes, the shoes, or the embroidery.
It’s the dancers.
I love watching young dancers walk through our doors with big dreams and even bigger personalities.
I love seeing their excitement when they find something they love, hearing about their next competition or performance, and watching them grow from little dancers into confident young women.
There is something incredibly special about being a small part of their journey, helping them feel beautiful, confident, and ready to step onto the stage and chase their dreams.
My hope is that Saxton Dance Shoppe is more than just a place to shop. I want it to be a place where dancers feel welcomed, inspired, celebrated, and understood.
Because I’ve been that dancer.
